Rosa Maria Unda Souki

Art Paris Art Fair

September 10-13, 2020

Grand Palais
The 22nd edition of Art Paris, the major spring event for modern and contemporary art, initially scheduled for April, then postponed and reinvented online in a virtual way, is reborn at the Grand Palais in a physical version from 10 to 13 September 2020 with 112 galleries from 15 countries.

Art Paris combines a regional exploration of European art from the post-war period to the present day with a cosmopolitan look at other geographical horizons, whether from Africa, Asia, Latin America or the Middle East. With a strong editorial line, broken down into themes and sectors that favour discovery or rediscovery, Art Paris cultivates a passion for art in all its forms in a human-sized and convivial setting.

Rosa Maria Unda Souki participates in this 22nd edition of Art Paris Art Fair represented by Galerie Ariane C-Y.
She is a painter and writer of Venezuelan and Brazilian origin. Her work focuses on memory and the daily life of the "home" as an intimate space. Her works raise the question of the permanence of spaces and objects and the fleetingness of human presence. In the course of her creative process, she begins with an iconographic, bibliographical, historical and photographic research that allows her to immerse herself in her subject of creation.

Rosa Maria Unda Suki (Brazil & Venezuela) is a recipient of the Cité internationale des arts Visual Arts Committees.
