Alexandre Roccoli

ELECTRO : De Kraftwerk à Daft Punk

from 09 April to 11 August 2019

Philharmonie de Paris

Electro music makes the world dance, the youth of Paris or Berlin, the clubbers of Ibiza or Goa, like the post-revolutionary generation of Tunis or Cairo. Since 2010, it has emerged as a major artistic trend in contemporary culture, influencing all artistic fields.

Immersed in a soundtrack created by the famous DJ Laurent Garnier, the exhibition aims to understand this phenomenon and to lead the visitor into a real sound, participative and sensory experience.

As part of this exhibition, the films Hadra and Weaver Quintet by choreographer Alexandre Roccoli, as well as his interview with Gisèle Vienne, will be presented.

Alexandre Roccoli (France) is a recipient of the Cité internationale des arts Performing arts Committee.
