Not knowing, not being able, not understanding... These are the feelings that inspired Protocole(s) to Françoise Dô. She looks back on her process:
Françoise Dô observes the silences. In a creative process imbued with realism, she uses writing and theatrical storytelling to explore taboos and the unsaid within families and society. In a sober and contemporary staging aesthetic, she seeks through dramaturgy to question the emotion of words.
Françoise Dô is a recipient of the Cité internationale des arts Writings Committee. Her residency was supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Cité internationale des arts as part of its action in favour of francophone creation.
