Actes primitifs is an underlying project of a perpetual research on possible worlds. It emanates from a fossil and latent zone. Although the worlds that the artist Bochra Taboubi creates are lost in an indefinite space-time and having a logic of their own they always question the Human.
From a series of drawings presented in the form of research and a mini fresco, she has been interested in instinctive gestures and rough textures. Carefree lines and tasks rudimentarily trace a world presented through a fauna and flora of a repertoire she has been developing for a year.
Under a turbulence of lines and textures, the line is freed and the gesture widens, evoking a visceral and spontaneous drawing.
Bochra Taboubi (Tunisia) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the Ministry of Culture and Heritage Preservation of Tunisia.
