In partnership with the Cité internationale des arts, Leonardo/olats and the Diagonale Paris-Saclay are organizing four LASER Paris evenings for 2020! On this occasion, discover new projects by collaborating artists and scientists, in a format where discussion and meeting with the public are privileged.
On the programme for this first event of the year, two talks moderated by Annick Bureaud :
• Au coeur de la vague, based on a collaborative art-science approach Plis, fronces et vagues, with Javiera Tejerina-Risso (artist) and Patrice Le Gal (Institut de Recherche sur les Phénomènes Hors Equilibre, Aix Marseille University, CNRS, Centrale Marseille).
• Il était une fois … un maelström, around the project A Tale as a tool, with Sandrine Teixido (anthropologist, CentraleSupélec - University Paris-Saclay, University of Toulouse) and Aurélien Gamboni (artist, HEAD, Geneva).
The LASER (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous) programmes are a sharing of experiences by artists, scientists or cultural operators on art-science projects in semi-formal meetings outside the institutional framework. Based on the model of the "chat room", the project actor(s) present their research and projects in a format where discussion and encounter between the speakers and with the public are privileged.
LASER Paris explores very diverse practices and themes in moments of reflection and exchange and offers opportunities for professional meetings between the actors.
