LASER Paris is co-organized by Leonardo/Olats and the Diagonale Paris-Saclay, in collaboration with the venues and is supported by the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.

This LASER get-together is co-organized by Leonardo/Olats and the Diagonale Paris-Saclay, in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts, with the support of the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso and the Creative Europe program of the European Union.

On the program, speakers from different fields will discuss topics that grow both art and science:

• Anouck Durand-Gasselin (artist) and Laurent Rigou (pédologist, Research Unit ASUP, Hautes-Pyrénées) | On the Tracks of the fungi..., about the project Sporées et Mycéliums, pop up exhibition of a selection of artworks.

• Florent Hivert and Nicolas Thiéry (professors in computer science, Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique/Computer Science Research Laboratory, University Paris-Saclay, CNRS), and Vincent de Lavenère (author-juggler, artistic director of the Cie Chant de Balles) | On the Tracks of the mathematical model..., about the project Jonglerie musicale, automates et combinatoire, Musical juggling demo.

The LASER (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous) programs are a sharing of experiences by artists, scientists or cultural operators on art-science projects in semi-formal meetings, outside the institutional framework. Based on the model of the "discussion room", the projet actor(s) present their research and projects in a format where discussion and encounter between the speakers and with the public are privileged.

LASER Paris explores very diverse practices and themes in moments of reflection and exchange and offers opportunities for professional meetings between the actors.
