Chương-Đài Võ

Chương-Đài Võ is a writer and curator who is interested in the migration and transformation of ideas, forms, and artistic practices. She is writing a book about art schools as sites of postcolonial protest in Hanoi and Saigon. She also is collaborating with an international group of researchers and curators on a digital humanities project about artists from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Chương-Đài Võ also writes poetry.


Prior to her residency at the Cité internationale des arts, she was a researcher at Asia Art Archive (2016-2022). She has curated exhibitions in Hong Kong, Saigon, Phnom Penh, Los Angeles, and New York City. Her essays have appeared in Afterall and publications from Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej Warszawie (forthcoming), Institut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA), Moderna galerija, and Taipei Fine Arts Museum. She has been a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT, a Fulbright Scholar, Chercheuse Invitée at INHA, and Chercheuse Invitée at Institut Giacometti.
