MOVE, manifestation annuelle lancée en 2017 par le Centre Pompidou s’inscrit à l’intersection de la danse, de la performance et de l’image en mouvement en imaginant un espace et un temps de réflexion sur les modes d’exposition de la performance : dans la durée, avec la participation des publics et dans des espaces traditionnellement non dévolus à la danse.
En exposant la performance dans ces nouveaux lieux, MOVE questionne la chorégraphie sociale de l’institution muséale, ses codes, ses mouvements, ses usages.

MOVE, an annual event launched in 2017 by the Centre Pompidou, is at the intersection of dance, performance and the moving image, imagining a space and time for reflection on the exhibition modes of performance: over time, with the participation of audiences and in spaces traditionally not devoted to dance.
By exposing the performance in these new spaces, MOVE questions the social choreography of the museum institution, its codes, its movements, its uses.
