A l’occasion d’un showcase, trois artistes lauréats du programme Visas pour la Création, initié par l’Institut français et destiné à des artistes résidant en Afrique ou dans la Caraïbe, se produiront sur scène à la Cité internationale des arts.
Adjo’A Sika (Togo) – afro-soul
Adjo’A Sika (Dziedzom Ayele AJAVON) est une chanteuse togolaise, connue pour la diversité de ses influences musicales et son engagement humanitaire. Auteure-compositeure-interprète, elle allie jazz, world music et gospel aux sonorités africaines. Elle prépare actuellement un deuxième album qui valorisera, dans un style moderne, les rythmes traditionnels Agbadja et Kpété du sud du Togo.
Armand Biyag (Cameroun) – afro-fusion
Armand Biyag (Antoine Armand BIYAG) est un artiste camerounais. Musicien de talent, il joue avec la même dextérité du piano, du balafon et des percussions. Son projet « Makouné-Jam » entend puiser dans les rythmes de la forêt Bassa dont il est originaire, pour les sublimer en les croisant à d’autres styles musicaux : mandingo, mbalax mais aussi rock et jazz.
Microméga (RD. Congo) – slam
Microméga (Jean Benoît BOKOLI BANDEFU), surnommé « le verbivore », est un artiste slameur, figure de proue du mouvement à Kinshasa. En 2013, il joue aux côtés de Grand Corps Malade, à Kinshasa. Avec son projet « Echangeur : armes liquides, larmes solides », Microméga a pour objectif de produire un recueil de poèmes-slam et un spectacle musical sur le changement climatique, sujet qu’il entend vulgariser auprès des jeunes.

Armand Biyag (Cameroon) - afro-fusion
Armand Biyag (Antoine Armand BIYAG)’s project "Makouné-Jam" is inspired by the rhythms of the Bassa forest where he originates.
Microméga (DR. Congo) - slam
Microméga (Jean Benoît BOKOLI BANDEFU), nicknamed "the verbivore", is a Slam artist, figurehead of the movement in Kinshasa. With his new project, Microméga aims to produce a collection of slam poems and a musical show on climate change.
