By collecting stories and works of art, Taigue Ahmed (Chad), Mohammad Hijazi (Syria) and their partners bear witness to the cultural contribution of refugees living in France and Europe. The work on oral history carried out upstream constitutes a part of European history that is recorded in the archives, and therefore a part of national and European heritage.
20 interviews with refugees (who arrived recently or less so) by people who have a connection to exile or migration will be screened during the event. The presentation invites the audience to discuss and exchange with the hope encouraging another outlook on this very contemporary story, which has in fact always existed, whether in the Middle East, Africa, Europe or elsewhere.
