For this new edition of Je viens de loin, j'écris en français, the Cité internationale des arts welcomes the Alliance française Paris Île-de-France.
Launched in 2017, the meetings of the Alliance française Paris Île-de-France give a voice to authors (directors, comic strip writers, writers...) from elsewhere who have chosen to express themselves in French.

Through the unique paths of Elitza Gueorguieva (Bulgaria) and Aliona Gloukhova (Belarus), Bernard Magnier will explore their perception of the French language, language of adoption, language of creation.

Born in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1982, Elitza Georgieva has lived in France for fifteen years. After graduating with a Master’s degrees in film making (2008) and creative writing (2015) at the university Paris-8 Saint-Denis, she is devoting to several artistic projects between video writing documentary, literary writing and performances. Les cosmonautes ne font que passer is her first novel.

After studies in visual arts at Saint-Petersburg University, Aliona Gloukhova, born in Minsk (Byelorussia) in 1984, worked as a translator, teacher, and cultural organiser. Dans l’eau je suis chez moi is her first novel. A documentary on the same subject, produced by Elitza Gueorguieva, should be ready for release in the spring of 2019.
