As part of the Work in progress (Everyday) series, Koki Nakano offers us an original performance, staged in the exceptional situation of the lockdown, to be discovered now: Pre-Choreographed.
Koki Nakano's music often develops in response to the body movements he mentally imagines.
According to him, a devotion to virtuosity and excessive intellectualism have distanced music from dance. The composer therefore wishes to show the public, in his own way, that music and dance are purely inseparable.
Pre-Choreographed thus seeks to evoke saudade (nostalgia) for a time when music and dance were very close to each other, when they functioned pleasantly in society.
