Born in 1988 in Taiwan, Pang-Chuan Huang is a graduate in graphic design. He later decided to immerse himself in cinema thanks to studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris 3.
His work always includes three elements: memory, travel and traditional cinema.
His two films Return and Last Year When the Train Passed by won the Grand Prix Lab at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival, two years in a row. They have also been presented at various festivals, such as the Locarno Festival, IDFA, MoMA, Doc Quinzaine etc...
