What is the difference between hearing and listening… or speaking and talking? Can you hear someone differently if you speak their words?
CHASING DIALOGUE is an immersive installation that presents a unique performance methodology developed by director Anna McGrath.
A selection of ‘evidence’: of performance, process and practice based research, will demonstrate ‘chasing dialogue’ in action and investigate its future directions for the stage and the world beyond.
It will feature works generated during the development and performance of | épochè |, an original theatrical production created with Matteo Romano Bernardini (Italy), Baptiste Brossard (France) and the dance group SUZANNE (France) during Anna's residence at the Cité internationale des arts 2018-2019.
Anna McGrath (Australia) is a recipient of the Performing arts Committees of the Cité internationale des arts.
