"TRAME" is a residency program for French-speaking artists from around the world who wish to develop a research and creation project in all disciplines in Paris, for a period of three months. Since its creation, it has enabled 15 artists to obtain a residency at the Cité internationale des arts. In 2021, 10 recipients will be selected.
This unique residency program offers customized support, monthly get-togethers and individual interviews with artists and cultural professionals. It is also rooted in the life, activities and networks of the Cité internationale des arts and its 325 residents of all disciplines, generations and nationalities.
The "TRAME" program is part of the new actions carried out since 2019 by the Cité internationale des arts, designated as a reference center for francophone creation by the Ministry of Culture alongside La Chartreuse de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon - Centre national des écritures du spectacle and Les Francophonies - Des écritures à la scène in Limoges.
It is supported by the Ministry of Culture.
