In 2020, the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso and the Cité internationale des arts have joined forces to create a unique residency program to support artists and professionals in the French art scene who have been particularly affected by the consequences of the Covid-19 health crisis.
The health crisis is still ongoing and many artists and professionals are highly precarious, or even forced to turn away from their creative practice. The cancellations and postponements of events and projects continue and, one year after the beginning of the crisis, affect creators of all disciplines even more acutely.
The Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso and the Cité internationale des arts share the desire to provide lasting support to the artistic scene in France and have decided to continue and strengthen the program for the year 2021.
Ten artists will benefit from a tailor-made accompaniment, a studio-living space and a living grant for six months.
