Each year, the Cité internationale des arts deploys a residency program entitled 2-12 open to all artistic disciplines (visual and audiovisual arts, performing arts, music and writing).
Offering a time of research and breathing space necessary for each artist, this program offers everyone the possibility to apply for residencies lasting from two to twelve months, between September 2023 and August 2024.
The recipients of this program are responsible for financing their residency.
In addition to a studio, the 2-12 program offers the opportunity to be immersed in the community of 325 artists in residency, of all nationalities, practices and generations, as well as with outside professionals, depending on the project.
To best meet the needs of the artists, the 2-12 program offers two residency options: one with a live-in studio, a place to live and work, and one with a working studio.
