Kay Zevallos Villegas known as Kay, born in Lima, Peru, is a performer, director, choreographer and visual artist. She orchestrates interventions in public places, in art galleries or theaters. Trained between Peru and Argentina, the artist is nourished by artistic collaborations in Germany, Spain and France.

Her work is crossed by the traditions and myths of the Peruvian Amazon, where she lived her childhood. In her approach, the cartographic issue - understood as a network of links existing or to be created - is prevalent and links the bodies between them: those of living beings but also those of the inanimate.

This research materializes in the production of plastic works, installations, and stagings where the organic and the synthetic meet, the natural and the artificial, the dominant and the dominated discourses, the popular imaginary and collective representations. Kay also works as a performer, dancer and actor for different companies in Europe.

In Paris, she founded the company Kay (Création Siento) which notably created Lettres Péruviennes at the Théâtre du Soleil (2018). Her most recent video-installations and performances, Madame Péruvienne, La préparation du sacrifice (2019) and La Glorieta (2020) were selected for ART-CAPITAL at the Grand Palais in France.

In 2021, Kay was a recipient of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation & Cité Internationale des Arts program and, in 2022, of the Cité Internationale des Arts 2-12 program in the Live Arts and Performance category. She was selected for the Prague Quadrennial 2023 (PQ Performance: RARE Experiences).
