The Fondation d'entreprise Ricard joins forces with EnsAD to launch the soirées DECOR: a joyful cabaret combining performance, cinema, posters, conferences, fashion shows, music, etc.
As part of this virtual evening, a video mixing the experimental animations of Lola Perez-Guettier with the digital drawings of Kamil Bouzoubaa-Grivel will be presented. It shows a universe between green background inlay and 2D drawings made on iPad. A character explores and interacts with the lines and pixels of the drawings which become real playgrounds that can echo video game maps.
"Characters filmed and animated by Lola Perez-Guettier wander and interact with Kamil Bouzoubaa-Grivel's digital drawings, made on iPad and inspired by both video game landscapes and modernist painting (Bram Van Velde and Matisse among others). Diving like "detectives" in this illusionist environment, the characters create new shapes in volume from the lines of the drawing. In camouflage outfits close to the forms imagined by Kamil, Lola's creatures address the visitors to the exhibition in a dialect of sound and music with modulating tones. In this way, not a crumb is lost of what is being played out in the recesses of a revisited Fondation Ricard, nor, in the course of wider shots, in the promise of exquisite trajectories". – Eric Loret, Editorial Director of DECOR
