ALT+R, ALTERNATIVE RÉALITÉ

from 21 June to 14 July 2019

Palais de Tokyo

A pun on the so-called "alternative" facts that have invaded the media and communication of our time, the exhibition alt+R, Alternative Réalité reminds us that the imagination remains the power of artists, not to falsify reality but to offer plural readings, in the service of our emancipation and the refreshing of our horizons.

Recipients of the Audi Talents program, the three installations presented at the Palais de Tokyo are prospective journeys into the history and stories that shape our time, those of new technologies, art discourses and a future hungry for science and political fiction.

Grégory Chatonsky (France) is a recipient of the Visual Arts Committees of the Cité internationale des arts.

Audi talents aims to support emerging artists in the realization of their projects. The works of artists Marielle Chabal, Grégory Chatonsky and Léonard Martin, presented for the first time in this exhibition, were created with the support of the program.
