Erieta Attali

Archaelogy of Light

from 30 November 2018 to 24 March 2019

National Gallery of Victoria, Australie

Through her poetic images, Israeli architectural photographer Erieta Attali explores the relationship between architecture and landscape, questioning how the context and terrain surrounding a building are part of a two-way dialogue. Erieta Attali is a master in the art of revealing the natural within the artifice, depicting architecture as a characteristic of nature.

The projects of some of the world's greatest architects are unveiled in this exhibition, which focuses on how Attali infects its images with details of nature and, in so doing, communicates a fundamental aspect of architecture - encouraging humanity to reorient and focus itself through architectural responses.

Erieta Attali (United States) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the programme of the Académie d'Architecture de Paris.
