Created in 2012, the International Festival of Extra Ordinary Textiles is an event co-produced by HS_Projets, the City of Clermont-Ferrand, Clermont Auvergne Métropole and the Bargoin Museum. The festival, which invites the 5 continents, is nomadic since on even years it makes Clermont-Ferrand vibrate to the rhythm of the world and goes international on odd years.

As part of the next edition of the International Festival of Extra Ordinary Textiles (FITE) whose theme is Love etc, discover the performance of Dalila Dalleas Bouzar, Ritual of moving the body around the body.

Vehicles of patriarchy and the dominations that accompany it, the bodies enter under the features of Dalila Dalleas Bouzar in a process of displacement and therefore liberation, both physical and symbolic. Through the performance, the artist wants to provoke a process of transgenerational liberation by giving back to women their place.

Dalila Dallés Bouzar (France) is a recipient of the residency program Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso x Cité internationale des arts.
