surface mouillée

Material, form, space and time are the common foundations of the artistic and creative processes of artists Emanuel Ehgartner, Maria Tackmann and Florian Thate. In their works, materials are reinterpreted, edited and tested for their properties. Here, the artists pursue different strategies and approaches in their practice, but have a common denominator: the intimate proximity with raw material. For the exhibition “surface mouillée” the artists will use their works to explore, appropriate and reformulate the given space.
