The exhibition Im Schwarm der Objekte - un fil rouge à travers la Cité internationale des arts* was conceived according to the idea of a baroque room, where different objects associated for no apparent reason form a new group of objects. Thus, the interaction of very different positions becomes an artistic ensemble (Artistic Clustering), reminiscent of the residency at the Cité internationale des arts.
As in dynamic systems - which are inspired by clouds of birds or swarms of insects (Schwarm in German) - the interactions between individual works appear as a pure accumulation. Each assemblage, even within a personal work or a design exhibition, leaves a particular imprint, which can also be explored from an animist perspective.
With the artists: Nora Aurrekoetxea, Piet Baumgartner, Emanuel Ehgartner, David Eisl, Karine Fauchard, Hanakam & Schuller, Daniel Horowitz, Lucas Horvath, Sabine Jelinek, Céline Lastennet, Marko Lipus, Michail Michailov, Monika Pichler, Anette Rose, Maria Tackmann, Florian Thate
