For nearly two centuries, the instrumental repertoire has always given pride of place to the cello, the quintessential solo instrument traditionally associated with the piano in sonatas. It was only from the late nineteenth century that some composers began to marry the sounds of the cello and the harp.
Taking inspiration from their predecessors, Stéphanie Huang (Belgium) and Marcel Cara (France) invite you to an evening with works by Zoltán Kodály, Isang Yun, Enrique Granados and Claude Debussy.
