In a world where moving far and fast is a privilege reserved for the most affluent, at a time when the models of large-scale off-site contemporary art events are being questioned more than ever, how do artists evoke the question of mobility in their works? Saïdou Dicko, Justine Gaga, Alioum Moussa and Sara Ouhaddou will discuss with the curator Aude Christel Mgba, around nomadic works transcending borders, all meanings included.

Saïdou Dicko is a Burkinabe artist. A shepherd from the age of 5, his artistic practice has developed as a tribute to the Fulani people and their nomadic way of life.

Justine Gaga and Alioum Moussa are Cameroonian artists. In 2006, she participated in the collective artistic adventure Exit Tour. With six other artists, she left Douala to walk to the Dak'Art contemporary art biennale in Senegal, crossing nine borders.

Hamedine Kane is a Mauritanian-Senegalese artist. He is recipient of the "Art Explora – Cité internationale des arts" program.

Aude Christel Mgba is an independent curator based between Cameroon and the Netherlands.
