Sergio Núñez Meneses (Chile, 1989) studied composition at the University of Chile. He is doing internships at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Institute for Creativity, Arts and Technology in the United States, on a UNESCO fellowship, and with Luis Naón at Cconservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, on a fellowship from the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Chile.

He then trained with Tom Mays and Daniel D'Adamo at the Académie supérieure de musique de Strasbourg/HEAR where he obtained a Master's degree in electroacoustic creation and interpretation. He is following the Ircam curriculum as part of his first year of a master's degree in mixed music composition at the Geneva University of Music.

Sergio Núñez Meneses is interested in the design and development of motion capture systems, as well as their integration into instrumental music. He uses the performers' physical gesture to transform their bodies into a new interface of musical expression.
