Cité internationale des arts & Centre national des arts plastiques

In 2020, the Cité internationale des arts and the Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap) joined forces to create a unique residency program to support curators on the French scene. In 2020 and 2021, ten curators have been offered support and contact with artists in residency, a live-in studio and a living allowance for six months.

The Cité internationale des arts and the Cnap share the desire to provide sustainable support to the French art scene and have decided to continue, strengthen and professionalize the program for the year 2022-2023.
Thus, for this third edition, it was decided to evolve the program by proposing two one-year residencies (from October 2022 to September 2023) focused on research and the implementation of exhibition, meeting and/or publishing projects at the Cité internationale des arts, in direct collaboration with the Cité’s programming team and its network.

C-E-A / French Organisation of Curators, itself in residency at the Cité internationale des arts, is once again joining forces with the program’s partners to create a dedicated event with the recipients.
