Crystal for Special Occasions is a moment of sharing, open to all, by Larisa Pelle (Finland) and Viktoriia Sviatiuk (Ukraine). He explores the Soviet Union's heritage in Ukraine, Russia and Cuba in everyday life and aesthetics. The works presented are paintings, photographs and a documentary.

Born in Russia, Larisa Pelle has worked in journalism, photography, documentary and media arts. The project presented Star City was produced in collaboration with the Danish photographer Patrick Kauffman and the documentary El fin de la noche is a collaborative work with a Cuban film and television school.

At the invitation of Larisa Pelle, the former resident of the Cité internationale des arts in 2017-2018, Viktoriia Sviatiuk is participating in this exchange.
