The performance-installation of Portuguese artist Hugo de Almeida Pinho is based on the evolution of optical studies that have endeavoured to understand and to dominate the eye’s movements. The Seeing Eye. Rear Window Real Window is also about the relationship between visual experience and the historical construction of vision, as well as how technology mediates, shapes and alters our perception.
