Gabriele Rendina Cattani

Born in Rome in 1990, Gabriele Rendina Cattani lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. He graduated in Music Composition from S.Cecilia Conservatory and EHESS/ENSAD in Paris. He is currently studying at Städelschule in Frankfurt.

 

 

Gabriele Rendina Cattani's practice draws from religious iconography, tableaux vivants, post-concert culture and new technologies in between text, performance, installation and experimental music. Since 2018, he is part of ALMARE artistic-curatorial collective focused on contemporary sound practices and performance.

He has published articles, poetries as well as his regular column for the French semiannual video game magazine IMMERSION

His works have been featured in institutions and museums such as Fondazione Prada, Venice; Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo; MACRO, Rome; OUTPOST Gallery, Norwich; Tirana Art Lab; HeK-Haus der elektronischen Künste, Basel.
