Helsinki-based Finnish artist Sini Pelkki works in photography, moving images and installation. She is interested in the subjectivity of vision and the introspective lives of spaces. In her work, landscapes, figures, objects and elements become layered narratives that lead in various directions and to various interpretations. In recent years, her projects have taken the form of collaborations and have resulted in moving images, performances and events.

In addition to other solo exhibitions, Sini Pelkki's work has been shown at Hippolyte Photographic Gallery (2021 – meaningful meanings), Helsinki Museum of Fine Arts (HAM) (2018 – Sheet No4), SIC Art Gallery (2017 – Length), Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museum (2016) and Galleria Sculptor (2013 – Arranger's Choice). Her films have been widely shown, for example at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, European Media Arts Festival (EMAF) and Videoex. In 2018, Sini Pelkki published her first book Arranged Lines.

Her works can be found in the collections of the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, the Helsinki Museum of Fine Arts (HAM) and the Saastamoinen Foundation.
