Elsa Brès (born in 1985) is an artist and architect. She graduated from Fresnoy, national studio of contemporary arts (2017), Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville (2012) - where she taught architecture theory - and also studied at the University of Montreal and ENSCI in Paris.
Her work, bringing together film, video, sculpture and installation, combines research, fiction and experimentation in order to explore the processes of construction and the political stakes of contemporary landscapes. Each project proceeds by distortion of space, scale and/or time in order to create geographical (sciences)-fictions.
