David Kadoule est un artiste togolais qui est né et a grandi à Lome. Il réside actuellement à Dakar.
Depuis très jeune, il a toujours été fasciné par les arts visuels et les différentes expressions qu’ils pouvaient dégager. Depuis quelques années, il a commencé à documenter sa vie quotidienne, ce qu’il a eu l’occasion de vivre jusqu’à présent dans ses voyages et expériences à travers la photographie. Actuellement en résidence à la Cité internationale des arts, il compte continuer dans cette perspective et plus précisément poursuivre sa pratique du portrait. Il réalise notamment des portraits d’artistes en résidence et des portraits de quelques sans domicile fixe dormant le long du bâtiment.
Son open studio au Café des Arts aura pour but de montrer une partie de son travail réalisé ici mais aussi au Sénégal, où il vit depuis 3 ans. Il permettra aussi une rencontre entre artistes, et sera présent sur place pour une séance photo, dans le cadre de la continuation de son projet.

David Kadoule is a Togolese artist who was born and raised in Lome. He currently resides in Dakar.
From a very young age, he has always been fascinated by the visual arts and the different expressions that they could convey. In recent years, he has begun to document his daily life, which he has had the opportunity to experience in his travels and experiences through photography. Currently in residence at the Cité internationale des arts, he intends to continue his portraiture practice in this perspective. These include portraits of artists in residence and portraits of a few homeless people sleeping along the building. His open studio at the café des arts will aim to show some of his work done here but also in Senegal, where he has lived for 3 years. It will also allow a meeting between artists, where the artist will hold a photo session, as part of the continuation of his project.
