The EIB Institute x Cité internationale des arts laureates

Artists Development Programme ● 2023 Edition

The European Investment Bank Institute (EIB) and the Cité internationale des arts are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 edition of the "Artists Development Program (ADP)".

• Marta Djourina (Bulgaria, 32 years old)  for the geographical call, targeting artists from Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Hungary, Luxembourg and Slovakia.

• Larissa Araz (Türkiye, 32 years old) et Zhenia Stepanenko (Ukraine, 27 years old) for the geographical call, targeting artists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, and Ukraine.

Jonathan Pêpe (France, 35 years old) et Lisa Hoffmann (Germany, 32 years old) for the theme "Disruption: The Imprint of Man", which examines current social issues in the EU: the decline of solidarity and respect as values, the clash of generations, and the meaning of intra- and international relations.

As the European Investment Bank’s flagship Arts and Culture initiative, the ADP is a unique talent accelerator that echoes the EIB Group’s investment in Europe’s knowledge economy. It amplifies the EIB’s efforts to support innovation by offering the next generation of European artists the opportunity to develop their practice in a high-quality professional setting, under the mentorship of an internationally-acclaimed artist.

More than just a residency programme, the ADP also serves as a living laboratory for examining the most pressing issues of today – climate change, global economies, migration, diversity, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine – through the lens of art.
