After its official opening on February 9, Villa Bloch de Poitiers will once again open its doors to the general public on June 29 and 30.

During these two days, from 10 am to 5 pm, guided tours will allow you to discover the former home of the writer Jean-Richard BLOCH, now Villa Bloch, a place of artists' residencies.

In the afternoons, special meetings will be offered with the artists in residence at Villa Bloch: the visual artist Alexis Morange (a recent graduate of the EESI), the Iranian poet Mohammad Bamm (welcomed at the Villa for two years as part of the ICORN network), the visual artist Anahita Hekmat (as part of the cross residencies with the Cité internationale des arts), as well as Thomas Ferrand (who will complete his first residency in Poitiers for an artistic and culinary project as part of the Traversées event).

On Saturday at 7pm, the 80 musicians of the Harmony Orchestra of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Grand Poitiers will perform a concert in the Iberian colours. Then the evening will continue in the softness of the Villa's park, around some culinary proposals, and in the presence of DJette May Kassem, artist-in-residence at the Cité internationale des arts.
