Oriental cabarets in Paris, accompanied by the best musicians; a foray into the theatre with Guy Jacquet and the Compagnie des Quatres Chemins, in Trakiniaï, an "Arabised" Greek tragedy; immersion in the world of Bartabas, at the Théâtre Zingaro, as a Berber singer-dancer in Opéra équestre; an extra in Mozart's L’Enlèvement au sérail at the Salzburg Festival... Her eclectic work is the fruit of her multiple artistic experiences, from her encounter with Sumako Koseki's bûto, Laura Sheleen's work on space-time, the Theatre of Movement, France Schott-Bilman's Primitive Expression, and her knowledge of the dances of the Arab and Berber worlds.

Since 2000, she has been creating a professional training for oriental dancers, artists and art therapists, through various associations. This is the work she continues today, within her studio Cie Saâdia Souyah.

In 2003, Saâdia Souyah was the first oriental dancer to be invited to the Centre National de la Danse in Paris. On this occasion, she has presented her creation Nissa, which has met the public in many theatres.

Since then, she has regularly shared her research with contemporary dancers and school audiences. She has presented various performances including Éclats de Femmes (2007), Lila (2009), Nouba de Femmes (2015), in Oslo, Paris (Théâtre de Ménilmontant, Institut du monde arabe, Forum du Cent-quatre, Théâtre Le Vent se lève...), Bordeaux, Montpellier (Arabesques Festival), Arles, Marseille, Hamburg and in Birmingham.
