Atelier 1431 - Cité internationale des arts

Susann Albrecht is a Swiss-based artist who works with photography. Her photographic work is a research on perception, an investigation into the way we look, observe, feel.
How do we look at things, situations and behaviours, especially in public space, outdoor and indoor space?

Her work is presented in fragments and then they are reconstructed in their entirety. The Big Picture.

For example, when we enter a room, we perceive the space, as a whole and in its details simultaneously.

Her current Parisian project includes two large wall pieces and art prints. Les Métallisées is about the homeless of Paris. She also produces reports on strikes and fashion week.

Susann Albrecht (Switzerland) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the Visarte programme - Professional Association of Visual Artists of Eastern Switzerland.
