Artist C.U. Frank welcomes all visitors who ask questions: "Where questions are asked, something changes."
South - West - North - East is a project that began in Düsseldorf/Germany in 2019 and continued during his two-month stay at the Cité internationale des arts. The individual works in the series will be exhibited in Germany in the same year in the art associations Landshut and Offenbach.
C.U. Frank is a conceptual art artist. His work lies between painting and sculpture. He uses panel painting for this purpose. After finishing the painting, he turns the back of the painting towards the wall, becoming invisible to the viewer.
C.U. Frank (Germany) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the programme of the Düsseldorft Artists' Association program.
