In 2020, the Cité internationale des arts and the Centre national des arts plastiques partnered to create a first-of-its-kind residency program to support curators and art critics on the French scene who were particularly affected by the consequences of the Covid-19 health crisis.
Five curators were welcomed in residency from October 2020 to March 2021. Following the results of this first edition and with a view to providing lasting support to the French art scene, the partners have decided to continue and strengthen the program for 2021.
Thus, five curators will benefit from a tailor-made accompaniment by the team of the Cité internationale des arts – in connection with C-E-A / Association française des commissaires d’exposition – of a live-in studio and a grant for six months, from October 2021 to March 2022.
