Carte blanche to Soro Solo

Saturday, July 17 2021, at 03:00 pm

Cité internationale des arts & Théâtre de la Ville

An afternoon and an evening to discover the African continent in words and music.

The Africa of yesterday, today, tomorrow, beyond countries and times, Africa in its diversity, its diaspora. An evening to speak, sing, dance, raise our voices, confront the words of today and others from the depths of the ages, inflections, movements of thought and feelings. Taking the time to get together, to go from one place to another, from the Cité internationale des arts to the Espace Cardin, to be caught up in the flavours, from dusk until dawn.

In its role as a hub for the exchange and promotion of a wide diversity of ideas and cultures, the Cité internationale des arts is collaborating with the Théâtre de la Ville to host the event as part of the Africa2020 season. Both the public and the artists are invited to express themselves and share within the walls of the Cité. On the programme:

• 16h/18h - Cité internationale des arts, Marais site
