"PRIVIlège" is an evolving proposal of photography, object, sound and video, built on an ongoing project by Romanian artist Pusha Petrov.
Photographing intimate objects or inhabited spaces, Pusha Petrov offers a sociological and aesthetic interpretation of our lifestyles, a "privileged" look. Diving in apnea in a universe where the intimate is revealed: what distance, what look to carry on what is revealed? A periodic rite, where stories are mixed and unravelled, relieving us of a part of ourselves to better transform ourselves under expert gestures. A repeated role-playing game, where everyone takes their place, not a theatre but a hairdresser's salon.
Pusha Petrov (Romania) is a recipient of the Visual Arts Committees of the Cité internationale des arts.
