Olivia Hernaïz is a Belgian-Spanish artist born in 1985. Her work has been exhibited in several international exhibitions, including recently at the Moscow International Biennale For Young Art, Russia (2018); Le Consulat, Collectionair, Lisbon (2018); Les Flâneuses, Art Night London (2018) and The Gathering, Panthera Today, Brussels (2018). She has been invited to video festivals such as Meer-kost #1: Provenance, Dok Gent, Belgium (2018) and LOOP Barcelona, Spain (2018).
Olivia Hernaïz participates in the 2019 Reims Scène d'Europe festival for the event "Public Pool #6 Commun/Common" on Sunday, February 3 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm at the Comédie de Reims. This event is organized with the FRAC Champagne Ardennes and the C-E-A/ Association française des commissaires d'exposition. On this occasion, Olivia Hernaïz will show her video All About You.
All About You is a love song. A promise, a hope, a broken relationship whose trust is being sought to be restored. Following the banking and financial crisis of 2008, many banks closed down while others tried to restore their image. "All About You" crosses two symbols, language and money. The lyrics of the song are based on bank slogans, which, whispered in a sweet voice, are very - too - easily similar to the sweet words of a lover.
