In the courtyard of a house long inhabited by generations of viziers in Zaria, northern Nigeria, four artists have been meeting since June 2018. The visual and video artists Simon Rouby and Native Maqari, the dancer Qudus Onikeku and the musician Keziah Jones have found there, at the same time a refuge, a work space, a stage and a laboratory. This court became the epicenter of a corpus of works entitled Almajir (from the Arabic 'Al-Muhajir' for 'Migrant').
