Bétonsalon - Centre d'art et de recherche

In the spring of 2019, Bétonsalon hosts a solo exhibition by artist Jean-Charles de Quillacq. On this occasion, works by the artist will be specially produced.

Born in 1979, Jean-Charles de Quillacq lives and works in Zurich. He studied art at the école des beaux-arts de Lyon and at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin. He develops sets of sculptures, both conceptual and fetishistic, which he shows, most often by inviting others to take charge of the exhibition with him. He thus makes these volunteers accomplices of his work, while accepting a certain loss of control over the potential deviations that this opening generates.

Jean-Charles de Quillacq (France) is a recipient of the Visual Arts Committees of the Cité internationale des arts.
