A video exhibition Pre-Choreographed by Paris-based composer and pianist Koki Nakano will be presented from September 16 to October 18 at agnes b. Gallery Boutique in Tokyo.
agnès b. and Koki Nakano met during a concert given in 2017 by agnès b.'s friend, world-renowned cellist Vincent Sega. Deeply impressed by Nakano's playing, agnès b. wanted to offer him a concert venue for one day. To coincide with the release of her second album, the exhibition was organized by Grand Marble, a gift maker who supported Koki Nakano with agnès b.
In cooperation with WHITELIGHT.Ltd., which provides the sound system and audio production for this exhibition, the staging is designed to create a realistic, theater-like setting that faithfully reproduces the melody of the piano, allowing us to experience Koki Nakano's beautiful and radical sound world.
