En être, the title of this event which federates a hundred volunteer artists who are committed, despite this difficult period, in an artistic, social and political encounter is a unique project.
The godmother of this edition is Camille Aumont Carnel, author of the book Je m'en bats le clito. The heart of the event will take place at the Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac Pantin with the exhibition Rassembler ce qui est éparars.
En être desire, simplicity and doing together. The responsibility for today's world belongs to us. This ritual recreation, rich in 72 years of history, will sing the joys and anxieties of the world, its deaths and rebirths. We will be fairies and we will be witches.
With pieces of string, it is possible to weave, create and gather what is scattered. The history of art, uncertainties, testimonies, transmissions, attempts, successes, mistakes confront dreams and reality. In being of what? With whom? How and for what reasons? The future will tell us.
Chedly Atallah will present his installation Métastases, alongside Théo Audoire and Théodora Kanelli.
Chedly Atallah (Tunisia) is a recipient of the residency program "Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation & Cité internationale des arts".
