This summer, as part of the "cultural and learning summer" initiated by the Minister of Culture, more than 250 artists, from all disciplines, are taking over La Villette to transform the site into a vast field of experimentation.
La Villette puts all its indoor and outdoor spaces (Grande Halle, Folies, Le Périphérique, lawns, gardens, etc.) at the disposal of the artists to invite the public to discover the research, rehearsal, construction and creation work in progress in new forms, with free access and in the required sanitary conditions. Thus, shows, concerts and exhibitions give way to the discovery of the backstage of creation.
A graduate in graphic design at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Adrien Ledoux develops his graphic language on a large scale, both geometric and organic. Here, he proposes a journey through the park by intervening directly on the facades of Bernard Tschumi's follies throughout the month of July.
Adrien Ledoux (France) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the programme of the Association des Anciens Elèves de l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs.
