For its second edition, the Visions d'Exil festival highlights the figure of exiles. Who are these women and men who have managed to cross our borders? What have they been through? How can they live in a new country, so far from home and cut off from all ties? What mechanisms and procedures exist to help them or, conversely, to avoid welcoming them?
From November 16th-30th 2018, the Cité internationale des arts will host the festival’s second key event at its Montmartre site in the 18th arrondissement, transformed for the occasion into an exhibition space spread over 3 floors.
The entire festival program, from November 2nd to December 2nd, will be taking place at the Palais de la Porte Dorée - Musée National de l'Histoire de l'Immigration (co-producer of the festival’s first major event), Mac Val - Musée d'Art Contemporain du Val-de-Marne and at the Théâtre-Sénart, Scène nationale in Lieusaint.
