In her work, Farah Soltani focuses on human beings and how their lives are affected by their environment, the materials they use and their past. Moving away from the Pop Art-inspired figurative paintings of the beginning of her career, she has eliminated faces and bodies from her works and now uses everyday objects to express herself. By painting these objects, she creates a nostalgic narrative that tells the story of a person, a place, an event and more generally of life itself.
